I was very honored this Veterans Day to join Assemblywoman Dahle and many Shasta County community leaders and veterans groups to honor the work of Maurice Johannessen, the former state Senator and California Secretary of Veterans Affairs. His work on behalf of California veterans is unparalleled, and his determination to deliver for his district while serving in the Legislature sets a very high standard. Thank you to Carl and Linda Bott from KCNR radio in Redding for organizing this Veterans Day tribute.
